Create, modify, or copy a scenario
You can create scenarios two ways: from scratch, or by duplicating an existing scenario and editing it
To create, modify, or copy a scenario:

In the Fin Plan Admin or Fin Plan task pane, in the Scenario Management section, double-click Scenario Manager.
- In the Scenario Manager dialog, click Start.

In the Scenariospage, do one of the following:
Option Description Create a scenario from scratch - Click Create New Scenario.
- In the Type a Name field, type a name for the scenario.
- Click Next.
Create a scenario by duplicating an existing scenario - Click Duplicate Scenario.
- In the Duplicate a Scenario dialog, from the Select Existing Scenario drop-down, select the scenario to copy.
- In the Enter Name for Duplicate field, type a name for the new scenario.
- Click OK or Apply.
- In the Scenario Manager dialog, click Next.
Modify an existing scenario - Click Modify Existing Scenario.
- From the drop-down, select the scenario.
- Click Next.

In the Select Models for Scenario page, click the check box next to the models to apply to the scenario, and click Next.
TIP: To select all of the models, click the check box in the table header to the left of the Name column.
- In the Apply Node Settings for Scenario page, do the following, and click Next:
- From the Model(s) drop-down, select one of the following:
- To apply the selected nodes to all of the models, select ALL.
- To apply the selected nodes to a specific model, select the model name.
Select the nodes to integrate into the scenario by clicking the check box next to one or more nodes.
TIP: You can filter nodes by type in the drop-down under the Global Set header by entering the type or selecting from the drop-down.
- From the Model(s) drop-down, select one of the following:
- Click Submit.
- In the Summary page, click Close.
